The Changnyeong Upo Insect Museum in Changnyeong-gun is hosting a special insect exhibition titled “Amazing and Fascinating World of Insects” from March 3 to May 31.
The exhibition was organized to help visitors become more familiar with insects while promoting respect for life and awareness of environmental conservation. Various insect displays and hands-on experience programs are being offered at the first-floor specimen hall.
Highlights of the special insect exhibition include 60 specimens of beautiful and fascinating insects, two interactive insect experience programs, and a section titled “Fun Insect Guinness,” which introduces record-breaking insects such as the strongest insect in the world and the insect that flies the farthest.
The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m. The museum is closed every Monday. Admission is free for visitors aged 65 and older and for infants under 36 months. Admission discounts are also available for Changnyeong residents and residents of sister cities.
