The winter festival “Let’s Play, Winter” is underway at Wangsong Lake Park, one of Uiwang’s major tourist attractions, drawing strong interest from children and family visitors during the winter school break. The festival site, located near Wangsongmotdong-ro 307, provides a safe and easily accessible environment for enjoying seasonal outdoor activities close to the city.
The venue features a slope-style snow sledding course approximately 50 meters long, along with a snow hill and igloo, a snow play zone, a rail train, winter character photo zones, and a food area. These diverse activity areas allow children to interact directly with snow and enjoy hands-on winter play, making the site especially popular with families.
The snow sledding area is designed to accommodate young children as well as elementary-aged visitors. Dedicated play spaces and photo zones offer additional opportunities for rest and recreation, while the rail train operates under child safety guidelines. The overall layout ensures a comfortable and secure environment for guardians accompanying young visitors.
The festival operates from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding Wednesdays, and will continue through February 1. All facilities are available free of charge, making the event an attractive winter outing destination for families in the metropolitan area.
