Osam Ajite, an interactive tourism attraction developed by Gimcheon City inside the Gimcheon Museum to promote local tourism, officially opened on February 28 after completing a four-day pilot program from February 24 to 27.
Osam Ajite is a nighttime destination offering a different atmosphere from daytime attractions. Designed as a destination for extended visits, it features immersive media art content combining light and video installations around a central peak-themed structure, creating a distinctive nighttime experience. The attraction includes a variety of interactive elements suitable for families, couples, friends, and group visitors.
News of the pilot program drew strong interest from residents and tourists even before the official opening. Long lines formed at the site during the trial period, reflecting high expectations for Gimcheon’s newest nighttime attraction.
In particular, the immersive media art exhibition and interactive experience zones go beyond simple viewing, allowing visitors to actively participate and engage with the content. The facility was designed with smooth visitor flow and enhanced amenities to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.
Admission fees are 12,000 won for adults and 10,000 won for youth and children. Discounts ranging from 30 to 50 percent are available for Gimcheon residents, national merit recipients, and people with disabilities. Infants under 36 months are admitted free of charge. The city plans to further refine the content and stabilize operations by incorporating feedback collected during the pilot period.
