The Sejong City Tour Bus will resume operations on April 1.
Sejong City Office announced that this year’s routes were finalized following a route development meeting held at City Hall.
The tour will operate two types of buses, as it did last year: a one-story limousine bus and a two-story sightseeing bus.
The one-story limousine bus will operate four special routes, including two popular regular routes and new departures from Goun-dong and Bangok-dong. The updated routes combine cherry blossom walks along Jocheon Stream with a visit to Jochiwon Traditional Market, where visitors can enjoy Padak, a local-style fried chicken topped with green onions. The route allows visitors to enjoy spring scenery, explore the old downtown, and sample local cuisine in a single trip.
The two-story sightseeing bus will introduce a new “History Walking Tour,” replacing one of its previous walking-themed courses. The tour departs from Sejong Express and Intercity Bus Terminal and stops at Choryeo History Park and Baekje Ancient Tombs History Park. Professional guides offer commentary at each stop on Baekje heritage, notable local figures, and traditional culture.
Ticket prices are 2,000 won for adults and 1,000 won for teenagers on the one-story limousine bus, while the two-story sightseeing bus costs 5,000 won for adults and 2,000 won for teenagers. Children under six ride free of charge. Sejong residents, people with disabilities, and seniors aged 65 and older receive a 50 percent discount.
Route details are available on the official website (sejong.go.kr). The buses operate on a reservation-only basis. Reservations for April are currently open, and beginning in May, bookings will open on the 20th of each month for the following month.
