I walked along the seaside boardwalk “Gungpyeong Nakcho-gil (Gungpyeong Sunset Road)”, which connects Gungpyeong Harbor and Gungpyeong Beach. Drawn by the forecast of clear skies that promised views far out to sea after a long while, I headed out in the hope of watching the sun sink beyond the horizon. I first arrived at Gungpyeong Harbor, where I looked for the yellow Gungpyeong Harbor North Breakwater Lighthouse.

Beyond the distant breakwater, the sky was filled with a beautiful sunset. The pavilion known as Gungpyeongnu, standing on top of the breakwater, was unfortunately under renovation, so I wasn’t able to go up.

As the tide receded, twilight spread across the tidal flats, revealing a beautiful scene. I was moved by the beauty of that moment, so I captured it with my camera.
